My Story
My name is Katie and I am a military wife, mom, Bernese Mountain Dog lover (and owner) and your Independent Scentsy Consultant. I first heard about Scentsy in 2009. At that time I was a HUGE candle fan and couldn't imagine anything being better than my beloved brand who shall remain unnamed...yes, it's probably the one you are thinking of…. 3 years later my best friend converted from Candles to Scentsy but I stood my ground, plus I had a lot of candles to burn from my stash. Being a military family meant that I lived on the opposite end of the country from my friend so sadly I did not experience Scentsy firsthand or else I would have been hooked back then. My story didn't begin for another year and a half. Christmas 2013 I was given my first 2 warmers by 2 different family members. Hint hint? Being the owner of 2 Big dogs (Berners) whose bushy tails are known for clearing coffee tables, candles were not safe to have lit any more. I needed something to make my home smell amazing that I could also feel safe using around my babies. I immediately fell in love with my new Scentsy warmers. I was hooked and by March of 2014 I signed up to be a consultant. Initially my intentions were simple, I would sell the minimum requirements to stay active and earn a little bit of income to buy my own products. I had no idea how much this opportunity would change my life. The more I fell in love with the products and the company itself the more I wanted to share this experience with as many people as I could. Being a part of an amazing Team encouraged me to set goals and aspire for more. Now a Director I have dreams of one day being a Star Director. I want to provide the same opportunity and encouragement to others that I was given. That is where my Scentsy story begins but it's certainly not where it ends.
